After the ferry ride made it too Whycocomagh which is 96km away from North Sydney where I plan on catching the pm ferry to Newfoundland tomorrow. Plan on leaving very early just in case. Ferry was uneventful, had a snack. Looking forward to Saturday, flying back to a real bed, real pillows, warmth.

After km it was literally nothing but pain. I have a couple of huge days coming up, tomorrow is supposed to be a write-off also, but Tuesday and Wednesday are looking good. I have km to go plus a hour and a half ferry ride to Nova Scotia, in order to make the pm ferry to New Foundland.
Those are 2 back to back km days. A very tall order.
Hills or headwinds will make it impossible. We will see. It would have been nice to put km in today, but with this weather, it becomes not only miserable, but very dangerous.

Not a bad day, crazy whiny screaming kidstarted at 6am, so I got up, showered packed up and hit the road. Awesome morning, light traffic,got out of Moncton then started heading east into a wind.
It's really hard doing 15km per hour putting in a ton of effort, but it's all part of it. Finally aroung noon the road turned due e Hit the Confederation bridge around 1pm, bicycles are not allowed on the bridge so a bus takes you over. You only pay when you leave the island so it was free.
It was 10k to the next, found it, but he doesn't open for 2 weeks. The next one is 50km away, so I backtracked the 10k and stayed at Yogi Bears Campground.
Ferry to NS is about km away, but possibly rain tomorrow. Will wait and see. Haven't met Anne yet, still looking.
